TeamHer Giving Back program was born from our wish to give back to the local and international community in a variety of ways. The program connects TeamHer members with a broad array of community projects offered through partnering organizations and other not-for-profits, allowing us to provide “hands on” opportunities to impact our neighborhoods and those in need throughout the United States of America and the world.
In January 2020, TeamHer Giving Back Outreach program went to visit Mrs Polly one of our elderly friend in Brooklyn, NYC that we visit from time to time and present her with a new pair of UGGS to keep her feet warm during the cold NYC winters as she moved around and go to the Senior Center and other activities.
The smile on her face said it all, especially when after trying it on, she asked "Can I wear this in the house too?"
In life, giving back will always be the most fulfilling act that you can do.
TeamHer Giving Back Outreach is partnering with the Ministry of Education, Region 2 Division to sponsor and support its 4th Female Softball Cricket Competition being held on March 7th, 2020 in Eseequibo, Guyana, South America.
Many of the females participating will be gifted with our Signature Patch Tee-Shirt and Cap as they play each other for the winners cup.
ADAPT Community Network is the leading human service not-for-profit and a pioneer in providing cutting edge programs and services for people with disabilities in NYC.
As part of our Outreach, we visited Adapt NYC during 2019 and 2020 to foster a network connection and build a relationship between us. We were well received and welcomed.
